With very little downtime and no discomfort, this form of microneedling changes how your skin looks, giving you back that youthful glow by encouraging the body’s natural collagen production.

Microneedling is a cosmetic procedure that creates very small wounds in the skin. This stimulates the body to produce collagen and elastin, which are key to creating plump, healthy skin. Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is an enhancement to this procedure. It allows us to place platelets from your blood into the specific treatment area. Doing so can help stimulate even further healing in the area. Platelets help to stimulate cell reproduction and regeneration.

When you visit our salon, we’ll discuss the specific types of treatment options that can address your problem areas. You don’t have to worry about pain or discomfort. Rather, we’ll numb the treatment area before the procedure to reduce any discomfort. Then, a small amount of your blood is collected and processed on-site to remove the platelets from it. We will then inject those platelets into your skin.

This is done using a microneedling device that simply rolls over your skin. It takes about 30 to 45 minutes to complete. After, you’ll be given a serum to apply to the skin to help reduce irritation and encourage further healing. It can also help to minimize any redness you have. We will provide you with any type of post-care instructions you need. 

There’s no downtime from this procedure. However, you will need to avoid sun exposure, swimming, or strenuous activity for a few days. Protect your skin from heat, hot water, steam, and other skin treatments for a few days to allow it to heal properly.

Some people need two to three treatments to see substantial results. Our team can offer ongoing, once-a-year maintenance services, too, to help keep your skin looking great long term.
