Ann has been in the healthcare field for the last 25 years. With a prior bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Registered Nursing, she has worked in clinical information technology before obtaining her Master’s degree in Nursing Leadership and Management at Western Governors University. She is also an experienced Nurse Practitioner who has gained experience in both the hospital and outpatient settings. She has worked in various departments including Dermatology, Pediatrics, Neonatal Intensive Care, Surgery, Endocrinology, and Informatics.

Aesthetic and Wellness Registered Nurse

Carmen is a highly requested Aesthetic Nurse Specialist with a BS in Nursing from Cal State East Bay. She excels in neuromodulators, dermal fillers, and advanced laser treatments. Carmen builds strong client relationships through personalized service and meticulous assessments, staying current with industry trends to ensure exceptional care.

Originally from Romania, Carmen appreciates diverse cultures and brings a multicultural perspective to her work. Her adaptability and altruistic nature help her connect meaningfully with clients. Carmen’s expertise and empathetic approach ensure patients feel heard, valued, and educated about their aesthetic goals and realistic expectations.

Ella Tan holds an Associates Degree in Allied Health and is currently pursuing nursing. A dedicated professional at Sanctuaire MD since 2020, she has been contributing to patient care coordination and well-being. Ella’s passion lies in helping others achieve their skincare goals. Beyond work and outside school, she enjoys playing the guitar and cooking. As a future nurse, Ella aspires to make a positive impact on patients’ lives through empathy, compassion, and continuous learning.

Medical Director

Dr Nick Makhoul is a Board-Certified Family Medicine physician in private practice since 1995. He earned his MD degree from Loyola University Chicago and his undergraduate BS from the University of California, Davis. As a Bay Area native, he has made the East Bay his home since 1995. He is married with three teenage children and has a passion for sports, the outdoors, and family nights out. Dr Nick is a strong advocate for healthcare prevention and the wellness of mind, body, and soul.
